Mobile Maps India

Mobile Maps India is an exclusive Sygic voice guided GPS app. This app is a great GPS tool (personally, we find it better than pre-existing google maps). It flaunts a huge 2-D or 3-D view of the map.

A single touch over the map allowing the users to open up the menu. It uses huge icons which are good to use while driving. It already contains all the locations pre-fed into the app. Typing a few initial characters of the name brings up the name from below (cool).

It consists of a voice guided GPS which directs through each and every turn while showing the track on the screen and users current position with a few more details.

It also has a day and night mode. It can also track the traffic (very much needed in India, lol!!).
The app is too expensive which takes a toll over its ratings, but a must app for ones who can afford.

Pages

Pages is an exclusively designed app for viewing, creating and editting documents on your idevices (finally a great app). An easy to use interface allowing users to choose from 16 different pre-existing templates such as a blank, poster, etc.

Allows users to add pics from the camera roll or add text template, charts or change font style or text color. It even allows easy navigation through the document. The best part, it automatically saves changes made while editing the document (Awesome!! :) ).

Another advantage is users can share their work by exporting it to Pages'09, Microsoft Word, or PDF format and send it via email. It also allows users to print it via AirPrint.

The size has gotten a bit smaller as compared to the earlier version. What makes Pages a worthwhile writing tool on a small iOS device is a feature Apple calls Smart Zoom. What Smart Zoom does is zoom in on the text that you’re editing while you’re editing it, then zoom out to give you a full view of your document when users are done.
Overall, the app gives its users a happy experience over document viewing and editing. Just the $9.99 price seems pretty expensive.

Angry Birds Rio

Angry Birds Rio is the latest on the series of Angry Birds game (And so far the best). Similar UI with a motto to save the birds caught in a cage. Some levels feature saving the birds whereas others feature killing the monkeys. Some new birds have also been introduced. It offers some great chapters such as the Smugglers Den, Jungle Escape, Beach Volley and the Carnival Upheaval. Some cool new chapters coming soon (Cant wait).

Angry Birds Seasons

Angry Birds Seasons is another fun filled day saving game. It is similar to Angry Birds but comes with different kind of level updates every season such as the Autumn update, Valentines update (funny, right!!) or even the Easter Egg update. On the whole, a great time passing game.

LiveProfile

LiveProfile is a free cross platform chatting messenger for iPhone, Blackberry and Android users (No Nokia for now- as if we care!! :p). This app is similar to Whatsapp Messenger (but free :D) and lets users share pics, video and statuses. This app is given more of a BBM(Blackberry Messenger) look and users need to exchange specific pins (sucks!!).

Whatsapp Messenger

Whatsapp Messenger is a cross platform chatting messenger (Finally, some substitution to the mean BBM). It allows users using iPhone, Balckberry, Android devices and Nokia devices (worthless and selected) to chat, share pics, share voice memos, share contacts and current locations over their devices. This app automatically searches the users phone book and adds people using Whatsapp Messenger to their favorites lists (Yayy, no pins :) ). Users can also takeadvantage of the group chat (limited to 5 people per group). One can even setup and share their current statuses. This app is completely worth 99c on the app store.

LogMeIn

LogMeIn is an app that allows the user to remotely control their pc or mac from anywhere in the world by just an iPhone and an internet connection (Wow!!). In this app the user can see the complete full screen of the pc or mac on their device. They can control their mouse and keyboard from the device itself (boon for lazy hands). Just the computer being controlled remotely needs to be connected to the LogMeIn server via the internet and wallah!! Personally we feel it is an amazing app to have but the rating goes down because of its high pricing.
